- Teach yourself to say no when you don’t want to do something. You know how sometimes you feel like there are many things in different direction at the same time, which others are expecting you to do. Learn how to refuse without feeling bad about it. Remember that it’s your time and your decision, and it’s yours alone.
- Write down in a dairy every day, and tell your story and feelings at the time they happened. It’s good practice for you. With time you may start to feel how it’s actually helps you.
- Use some meditation technique. You can do breathing exercises or simply say a prayer for peace of mind. Making your mind and thoughts go to where you want them to be, is very powerful and positive thing to do.
- Think positive. When you look at the things you need to do, be aware not to look at the dark side. Let’s say there is some homework to do, and you have spent two hours on it, which was all the time you could dedicate to it on that day, but you couldn’t finish it. Now there are two ways for you to react: negatively you can concentrate on the fact that you haven’t finish what you set yourself to do. Positively you will say to yourself how proud you are with what you accomplished, and will allow yourself to feel good and happy about it.
- Always keep your sense of humor. Laughter is a very well known remedy for a wide verity of diseases, particularly for stress condition, and anxiety attacks. Don’t wait for tomorrow to laugh about your anxiety that you feel today. Laugh now. Laughter will make you feel better.
